Q: How do I order?
 
 
There are 4 easy ways to order.

  3. Fax 1-613-233-5438. Complete order form and fax to our 24-hour fax line. (Credit card holders only.)     
  4. Mail your order to: Selection, 400 - 280 Metcalfe Street, Ottawa, ON K2P 1R7 (Sorry, no C.O.D. accepted. Please do not send cash in the mail.) 

Q: What is the best method of payment for purchased goods?
 
We accept MasterCard, VISA, and cheques or money orders made payable to CMA Selections.

Q: How do I return or exchange goods?
 
Your Satisfaction is Guaranteed:
 
We want you to be perfectly satisfied with your purchase. If your selection does not suit you, you may return it within 30 days with your receipt for a full refund, credit or replacement. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. Items must be returned in their original condition. No returns on custom jewellery products and opened DVDs or video tapes. For health reasons, we cannot accept returns of earrings or food items. Please call our customer service line at 1-800-221-4443 to obtain a Return Authorization # prior to shipping your parcel.   

 
Q:  What are the shipping and handling charges?
 
Orders received prior to December 14, 2010 will be delivered before Christmas. Shipping charges are subject to 5% GST throughout Canada and 8% PST if delivered in Ontario, 13% HST in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.

For Rush Delivery, add $18 to Regular Delivery charges. If shipping to more than one address, add the Shipping and Handling charges as above for each additional address for Regular Delivery and add $18.00 per additional address for Rush Delivery within Canada. US destinations: for each address add $18 to Canadian shipping charges for Regular and $25 for Air Mail. Please note that orders cannot be shipped outside Canada and the United States.

Q: Is this a secure website? 

When you shop and pay for your purchase at Selections from Museums of Canada online store you can be assured that your personal and payment information is handled with the highest degree of security and confidentiality.  We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology that safely encrypts all of your private information when placing an order, and guarantees it is sent securely for processing. Your credit card account number is not stored in the system.

 
Q: How do I order a cartouche?

As each cartouche is customized to your specifications, you will need to speak with our customer service agents directly.

Due to high customization involved in placing cartouche orders, these orders must be placed by telephone. Please call 1-800-221-4443.

Q:  How do I request a catalogue? 

 
Our latest catalogue is overflowing with fabulous new items...plus many of our best sellers from previous catalogues! To receive your own copy, please complete the form provided in the Request a Catalogue page. Your catalogue will arrive in approximately 10-14 days
  
Q: How do I send a friend Selections from Museums of Canada?
 
If you would like us to send a friend or relative a FREE copy of Selections from Museums of Canada catalogue, simply provide us with their information in the form on the Request a Catalogue page. Their catalogue will arrive in approximately 10-14 days. 
 
Q: Can my purchase be gift wrapped? 
 
Yes, all of our items may be gift wrapped for a fee of $6.00.

Q: Are there special offers on any of your products?
 
Look in the "Special Offers" section on www.museumsofcanada.ca to find limited-quantity, first-quality products that we are discontinuing. Our "satisfaction guaranteed" policy applies to all of our special offers.

Q: Will my shipment arrive before Christmas?
 
If you place your order prior to December 14, 2009 it will be delivered in time for Christmas.

Q: Can I cancel my order? 
 
We begin to process your order immediately after you submit your order.  We pick, pack, wrap and ship your order as quickly as we can. We do not have the ability to change or stop orders once they have been placed. Instead of canceling your order, simply return the product to us when you receive it using the Return Form included with your order. We will refund the original cost of the merchandise. For additional help, please speak with a customer service representative by calling toll-free 1-800-221-4443.

Q: What if an item I order is out of stock?
 
We endeavour to ensure that all items are in stock. Should an item not be available, we will advise you immediately while you are on the phone or via email. While placing on order on our website, out of stock items are clearly labeled as “Backordered.”  No additional shipping charges will apply.

Q: What are the sizes of your clothing like?

Standard Canadian sizes

Q: Which products are made in Canada?

Look for the "Made in Canada" marker in the catalogue and Maple Leaf icon on the website

Q: How long will it take for my package to arrive?

Regular merchandise should take from 10 to 14 days to arrive
Custom-made items, like the cartouche, take 4 to 6 weeks

Q: Are your prices in Canadian dollars?

Yes

Q: Can I send food items to the United States?

No, unfortunately we cannot.

Q: If I don’t like the item I’ve purchased, can I return it?

If your selection does not suit you, you may return it within 30 days for a refund, credit or replacement.  Items returned must be in their original condition. Sorry, no returns accepted on DVDs once packages have been opened.  Custom items, such as cartouche jewellery cannot be returned. For health reasons, we cannot not accept returns of earrings or food items.

Q: Can I place an order and have it shipped to an international destination?

International orders cannot be placed through this system.
